Her attitude was a threat to the patriarch, so she was expelled from Eden and replaced with Eve, who was willing to be obedient. Prior to this, Lilith was the Great Mother who cared for the people and settled disputes with her gentle wisdom and powerful influence. As a demon, she is blamed for seducing men in their sleep, causing nighttime emissions.
